CoH Charity Marathon: Update 7.5?

Technically, I wouldn’t call this a Marathon update, but, its about the streaming so it could count.

As you might have seen, we did a test of the stream last Thursday, we had some problems with the sounds then, so I set to work fixing them. I changed a few settings, and with no idea if they would work, I left it as that until we had another chance to test the set up. That opportunity came, out of the blue I decided to take the streaming kit (camcorder, capture card, wires, tripod, microphone) to Eddy’s house and stream our birthday party! (Mine was Sunday 5th, Eddy’s Wednesday 8th)

I am happy to announce, that all tests where successful! We have 1 (or 2) more things to test and we will be doing that on Thursday around 3pm (GMT), this should be the final test before we go officially live on 16th Dec at 1pm (GMT) – I still need to change the poster, the page and email Real World Hero as of posting this, but I will do it before Eddy arrives and we do the stream test.

So I was wrong about it not being a Marathon Update, but I’m not a liar , highlights of the party stream will go up soon
