If you have been following my Twitter or my personal blog, you will know all about this, but if you haven’t – Let me introduce you to the biggest and best event to hit City of Heroes this year! Real World Hero!
Real World Hero is an in game event to raise money for 4 charitys, Child’s Play, Donate Games, Heifer International and Operation: Gratitude – And it’s a very good idea.
But what does this have to do with Pure Boredom I hear you ask, well, myself and Eddy are running an event for this charitable event. I will be playing City of Heroes for 24 hours, levelling a brand new character as high a level as possible in that time and Eddy will be moderating the Live Stream that will go with this event. There also is a poll over in the menu for you to choose the Archetype of the character!
That’s Right! This whole 24 hours will be streamed live online and along with watching our gradual decent into madness, there will also be contests [hopefully for both EU and US servers], more info will be coming on them soon.
The Marathon will start at 1pm on the 16th of December and run till 1pm on the 17th of December – I hope you can join us and donate lots of money to 4 worthy charitys. There is a dedicated page to the event [Link Here] which will have all the latest info.
